Responsibilities:

• To undertake and complete assignment that assigned by SOC Manager, Management and client from time to time

• Ensure client networks, servers are free from threats, malwares, botnets, ransomware etc

• Generate logs to security events identified

• Focus on Security Operation Centre functionality on detecting and investigate threats, as well as defending mechanism in response to an attack

• Monitor and analyse the output from various security perimeter monitoring devices and recommend security actions per procedures

• Provide event and threat analysis of system and network logs

• To ensure all incident detection shall follow the Incident Management Process

• Provide early warning and alert and cyber threat for client

• Prepare MSIEM monthly report

• Assist in Splunk content / use case development whenever required

• Research on new threat / vulnerabilities from various resources, which includes zero-days, critical vulnerabilities, application updates/ upgrade, patched, newly found critical malware etc

• Incident discovery & analysis through monitoring, incident response and notification, which shall include escalation as per SLA’s Incident Priority and Category, daily follow up and an effort to provide a close solution to resolve an issue

• To ensure monitoring and analysing is done thoroughly

• To ensure no miss incident when performing the work function

• To be able to understand each incident situation and to communicate with client clearly

• To deliver all activities within CFC function with the expected result

• All other responsibilities, tasks, assignment and projects that may be from time to time by the Company.

 

 

Desired Qualifications and Personal Skills:

• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply

• Experience in Cybersecurity / Managed Security Services will be a bonus

• Degree / Diploma in Cybersecurity/Network Security/ Computer Science

• One of the following certs: CISSP, CEH, GIAC, OSCP/E, OSWP

• Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing

• Ability to document technical information for executive level & technical level reporting, presentation and training.

• Great customer handling experience
