Khairil Effendy

As Founder and MD, Khairil has helped grow Nexagate into one of Malaysia's leading Cyber Security services provider, having served more than 300 customers across Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei.

Khairil has a Master in Communication Engineering from University of Manchester (UK) and a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering from Multimedia University.

Khairil started his career in 2002 with TM, before moving to Shell IT, and later joined HP as Senior Network Consultant in 2006. With HP, he held a number of multi-million project portfolios, specializing in project management, network consultation and delivery services.
In October 2010, he founded Nexagate.

Khairil is an active investor and advisor, whose Nexa Holdings vehicle is dedicated to accelerating Malaysian startups.
